Job Title: Marketing Executive
Our client, a medium-sized dairy manufacturing and sales company based in Uganda which has been in operation since 2013 is looking for a Marketing Executive. This is a key senior position in the Company’s management team reporting to the CEO.
Requirements
Strategic planning skills: Must ensure the development and implementation of a clear strategic plan for the retail business unit.
Financial planning skills: Will need to be responsible for looking at the future of the business and making key investments and investment recommendations for the retail business unit. Will be responsible for developing budgets for their function in line with business goals
Interpersonal skills: Must be able to support the development of a healthy internal culture that retains key employees, treating them with respect and encouraging their professional development.
Leadership skills: Will be responsible for leading the function in the specified countries.
Education: A graduate degree or master’s in Marketing, business administration or relevant field; prior experience in the Dairy Industry is highly desirable though experience in the branded retail food sector could be considered.
Proven experience as a senior manager in sales and marketing. Ideally in the Dairy or FMCG with a proven capability of implementing and growing a retail business.
Demonstrable experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision and business plans.
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
Familiarity and experience in supply chains related to agricultural products preferably milk.
Solid knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
An entrepreneurial mind-set with outstanding organisational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Knowledge of IT-driven sales management systems
