Public Area Attendant Responsibilities:

* Attend team briefings.
* Greet all guests with a smile and hello.
* Anticipate the needs of guests.
* Ensure confidentiality of hotel guests.
* Pick-up assignment sheet and review priorities.
* Pick-up designated keys and beepers. Ensure security of keys, pager and radio at all times.
* Follow through on any additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift.
* Check supply levels in storage closets. Complete requisition for additional supplies needed and submit to manager/supervisor.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas. Rectify any deficiencies.
* Check carts/caddies for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems. Correct any deficiencies.
* Clean public areas/bathrooms, restaurants, pool area, offices and service areas using designated checklists. Ensure that cleanliness and condition of each area meets designated standards. Correct any relayed or sighted deficiencies.
* Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to housekeeping office coordinator. Contact engineering directly for urgent repairs.
* Accommodate guest requests for housekeeping items or additional supplies expediently and courteously. Follow up on delivery and return of all such items.
* Monitor and handle guest complaints by following guest services training procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Ensure security of hotel property.
* Respond to all pages by beeper promptly.
* Document pertinent information in department logbook.
* Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving.
* Successfully complete the training/certification process.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
* High school diploma

Our client in the cosmetic business is looking forward to filling a Sales Beauty Advisor role. He/She will provide personalised services to customers at the shop in order to assist them in selecting the appropriate cosmetics.
The ideal candidate will be demonstrating makeup techniques, recommending products that meet the needs of clients, and informing customers about product details such as ingredients, application methods, and price while contributing to the sales quotas by promoting the beauty products to clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Greet customers when they arrive at the shop.
. Show how to use makeup and skin care products correctly.
. Cross-sell beauty products (e.g., serums, body lotions and hair care products).
. Determine the needs of the customer and recommend cosmetics and skin care products based on their preferences.
. Assist customers in locating the products they seek in the shop.
. Ensure that products are properly displayed on shelves.
. Explain to customers how to use products that they are interested in purchasing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

. Certificate/Diploma in Beauty Therapy or related course is a KEY REQUIREMENT.
. Prior experience as a Beauty Advisor or a similar position is an added advantage.
. Experience with customer service in retail stores is a plus.
. Knowledge of makeup, hair care, and skin care products is comprehensive.
. Capability to demonstrate and sell beauty products on the spot (e.g. how to apply face creams).
. Understanding which products are best for different skin types.
. Excellent communication skills.
. Ability to maintain a calm and pleasant demeanour during peak hours.

MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Kes. 30,000
