Salary Range: KES (14610-16250)
House Allowance: KES 4125

Job Requirements
i. Enforcement of county by-laws
ii. Guarding county installations and properties.
iii. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the authority.
Job Description
i. Must be a Kenyan citizen.
ii. Must be a holder of KCSE Certificate with at least a mean grade of “D” plain.
iii. Must be aged between 18-30 years.
iv. Must be physically fit with height of: Male – 5,8”
Female – 5,0”
v. Be a holder of current certificate of good conduct from Director of Criminal Investigation.
vi. Ladies should not be expectant during the interview and while undergoing training.
Borough Manager

Job Requirements
i. Be a Kenya Citizen;
ii. Served in grade of Senior Management level or comparable and relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of 10 years;
iii. Bachelor’s Degree in the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration or its recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
iv. Master Degree in the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration or its recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
v. Strategic leadership development programme training is an added advantage;
vi. Demonstrate outstanding professional competence and administrative ability in the management personnel and resources;
vii. Professional qualifications is an added advantage;
viii. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;
ix. Demonstrated high degree of professional competence, administrative capabilities and initiative in work performance; x. Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Job Description
i. Advising the County Chief Officer on all matters pertaining to the borough;
ii. Coordinating Development and updating the Borough strategies in line with the overall vision and mission of the County;
iii. Providing overall coordination and provision of strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the Borough achieves its mandate through efficient and effective systems and work ethics;
iv. Planning, directing, organizing, controlling, managing and monitoring the internal and external operations of the Borough;
v. Liaising with and maintaining collaboration with the County, relevant government Organizations and other stake holders;
vi. Assuring efficient management of resources and coordination of the Borough activities;
vii. Supervision of administrative and personnel matters in the Borough;
viii. Any other related duty(s) as may be assigned by the Chief officer.
Ward Administrator
JOB GROUP “N”

Salary Range: KES (56370-87360)
House Allowance: KES 35000
Commuter Allowance: KES 8000
Job Requirements
(i) Served for at least 3 years in middle level management/administration either in public service or private sector;
(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration or its recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
(iii) Experience in Management and Conflict resolution.
(iv) Demonstrated professional competence in administration and management as reflected in work performance;
(iv) Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;
(v) Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Job Description
i. Implementing Ward policies and plans;
ii. Ensuring efficient and effective service delivery;
iii. Developing activities that empower the local community of the Ward;
iv. Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of Public Services;
v. Coordinating and facilitating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services/ and
vi. Dealing with conflicts and handling complaints from the public;
vii. Any other related duty(s) as may be assigned by the sub-County Administrator.
